Best missed XP in Panthers History

If Graham doesn't miss that XP we're definitely playing conservative ;-) Who knows if we even make that FG with the way Sherman was coming from the right corner of the ST.

Instead, the D goes out and gets us a stop and then Cam to Olsen for the game after a few clutch catches by Funchess (finally)

Say what you want, but I think that XP miss might be the best thing that's happened to us all season!

IMO, we were playing it conservative.  But even when playing conservative in that situation, you still send a guy to the end zone and if the other team makes a mistake, you make them pay.  They did and we did.  That is what good teams do, make other teams pay for their mistakes.

Ironically, if Olsen is to be believed, our own mistake might have led to Seattle's mistake.  We were late getting to the line of scrimmage and hurried up.  This confused Seattle and they screwed up the pass coverage.

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
