So it's the month of Halloween, and the best time of year for horror movies.

Name a good one you've seen in the past few years and one that scared you as a kid.

I do remember a movie with Michael Caine, The Hand. That scared me when I was kid.

The Exorcist scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.  Still won't watch it.

yeah. I downloaded it after you said something about a few months ago...I don't remember it. 

I did try and down load The Hallow today, but ran out of time. Will try again, cuz I do like to watch at least one scary movie during Halloween.

Movies like The Shining and Deliverance scared me way more as a kid than slasher or  paranormal type films.  The original Halloween might be the only slasher type of movie that ever really scared me.  The rest of the were more for eating popcorn and laughing.  I think they are showing Halloween in the theaters nationwide starting on Thursday.  I might have to go check it out.

I'm watching the updated version of 'The Fog'.

Aside from all the obvious ways the remake is inferior to the original, I'd just like to point out that Selma Blair cannot hold a candle to Adrienne Barbeau.
