I've been reading threads on a few Eagles fan sites and articles over at philly.com and i gotta admit their fanbase/ beatwriters sound just as if not more negative than us.

Seems the general consensus is that their screwed at RT and not very proud of their O-line as a whole right now...(reminds me of the days when we had to start willig at RT)...They also sound pretty bleak about their run defense and feel like were going to expose the middle of their defensive line. And of Course everybody has smitty on their radar and expect him to get at least 1 score.

The closer we get to gametime the more confident i'm feeling about this game.come on sunday hurry up and get here!

All fan bases are negative when their team isn't winning all its games. I bet if the Steelers lose more than 5 games this year, their fanbase (some of it anyway) will turn negative.

Some of them do have enough sense to not flap around like Daffy freakin Duck over a couple of pre season games though.

    • Option 1 is most likely. Even if he kills it this year, it wouldn't be prudent to rush an extension for one good season. If you have to pay him more because you waited another year, then he earned it. And that's OK. Adjust accordingly.
    • Cam had the advantage of having a very strong supporting cast his first 2 seasons. Things definitely worsened later on. But those first couple of years can kill a QB. Some never truly recover. If they do recover it takes years, and usually with another team. Trying to learn to be an NFL QB with TEs and WRs that are trying to learn too is a recipe for disaster. Imagine if Cam's rookie season was that 2014 offensive squad. Changes everything! I said it when they moved up in 2023. This team wasn't ready for a rookie QB yet. Anyone that thinks Stroud would have been a lot better is delusional. The correct formula is to build a strong team and then you go get your rookie QB. Not the other way around. BY is going into his third season and we're still trying to put a respectable group of WRs and TEs around him. I think they have the right personnel now. Unfortunately they haven't developed into actual NFL players yet.  This season we should expect consistency and aggressiveness from BY. Mostly for his development but also to DEVELOP his young cast.
    • It is goofy how some people hate Bryce so much that they're flat out lying to try and remain entitled to their pessimism. It's insanity. Most fans are realists and eagerly awaiting the season to see if we get pre- or post-benching Bryce to start the season and how much he is able to do with some young and developing weapons. Many of us understand that these young guys are going to have growing pains on the job as well as the new defense, but the fans with all of the excuses for why Bryce can't be successful are pounding the no excuses drum. Personally, I'd prefer the Keep Pounding drum.
