What a difference a year makes

This year the Colts are struggling, Seattle, Dallas, Baltimore, New Orleans and Philly. The Panthers are undefeated, Vikings rise from mediocre to a good team, Arizona looks to be back and the Bengals look great. The best 3 NFC teams might not even make the playoffs. It looks like 8-8 might win the NFC East. Amazing what a difference a year makes.

I don't think Seattle was that great last year.  You guys played them tough as a 7-8-1 team in Seattle then it took a miracle and our mistakes for them to beat us. Dallas and Green Bay might have beaten NE in the big game seeing that Seattle was 1 yard away from beating them.

RR:" Its not about who is the best team but who plays the best during the game" Being the best team dont mean ish if you not playing good that day or a team has a better gameplan.....ya dig?!

I agree. Playoffs are a whole different game.

The Panthers were one of the 3 best teams from the NFC last year. Regardless of record, we were the third best team just behind Seattle and GB. No way Dallas would've beat us.

thats absolutely ridiculous dude. the Cowboys OL was the class of the NFL last year and they have the best running game. Dallas would have beaten us in Dallas, and it would have been very close in Charlotte.

    • Backup QB has been an issue of mine for a long time but not just for Bryce and Dalton. We have never really been able to develop QBs or build an offense around strengths. Dalton isn't going to move the needle one way or another. The problem is in our FO and possibly coaching staff (current staff undetermined as of yet). I'm of the belief that you always try to get better. Dalton wasn't good other than one game against an abysmal defense. Churn the roster, including backup QB. If BY isn't the guy we've got to start over anyway. Who knows. We might actually find someone good. Other teams have done it before.
    • Lol. Worst case? I think you mean most likely result. I don't think people are going to be wasting much breath on Dalton or QB2 if Bryce flounders this year. It's going to be people calling for coaches, GM's and owners heads for the mess we got ourselves in with Bryce in the first place. Rightfully so.
    • I mean that's his sole reason for being here. He doesn't win football games. He's here to keep Bryce comfortable.
