ATL rappers, Migos and Skippa da Flippa created the dance. There's also been other ball players dabbin' as well. Cam took it to another level, though. It blew up once he started doing it, and that lady complained. 

I was doing it at the Compound club this past Saturday lol.

Jeremy Hill was the 1st NFL player I saw that dabbed. Cam is definitely the biggest name to do it 1st though. 

 

Oh and NBA players too.

I wasn't sure which player it was, but someone definitely did the Dab after a sack.  The same person even started with doing the superman with his jersey first.  He did that quickly.  I looked for a highlight of the play, and couldn't find one.  I noticed it all right away and thought he was imitating Cam.

The point is that a lot of people were doing it before the Cam did it at the Titans game. People that continue doing the dance after Cam did it aren't necessarily copying Cam. They might still be imitating the original artist like they were at the beginning of the season. Not a big deal tho.
