Cardinals barely escaped the mediocre Gabbert led 49ers who turned the ball over on special teams and with a pick. The 49ers handed them the game, and they still had trouble. Now AZ has to play the Vikings, GB, and Seattle without their premier RB. They could very well lose all three of those games.

I get this but we barely escaped the mediocre McCown led Saints, at home no less. Sometimes you have to win ugly. That aside they do have a tough road ahead without CJ2K, wouldnt mind them beating Seattle though if we have the #1 locked up by that point

McCown played on a level that reminded me of Joe Montana at his best in that game against us and still lost. Noodle arm Gabbert tossed up rotten Thanksgiving turkeys and almost won. Big difference.

Johnson can work his butt off to get ready in time for the SB, but it'll just mean he'll have an easier time walking in as a spectator. The NFC spot for SB #50 is reserved for the Panthers.

I'm of the opinion that the current version of the Panthers is a much better one than the one that got scared by the Saints on 9/27.

I was saying it a few weeks ago, The cardinals are scary now, but their offense has a lot of old guys on it. The thing with old guys is that they tend to wear out as the season goes on, see one Tillman, Charles.

I would not be surprised if they drop a few of their remaining games and allow Seattle to sneak in as a wild card.
