I needed this game

The last few weeks have kind of lulled me to sleep.  Sure, I'd sit in front of the tv, drink my Miller Lite, and cheer on my Panthers.  But the blowouts kind of took something away.  Don't get me wrong, I loved them.  But by the second half my energy was down because we were puttin our opponents away easily.  Today...I was once again pacing in front of the tv, never sitting down.  I was screaming at each play, sending my wife and kids running.  I have that emotional high back again.  This team showed fight today.  They showed fortitude.  They showed resilience.  They showed the kind of determination that will be needed in the playoffs.  I needed this type of game.  And so did my Panthers!!!

Umm... if it's alright by you, I'll take the blowout wins, thank you. My blood pressure can't take another game like that anytime soon.

I honestly feel the same way, but it's a double edged sword.

Blowout and get an easy win, or get a stressful potentially losing game.

 

This was a great game however

Hopefully this was the type of game that they needed to put everything into perspective and be ready to play each week

a game like this is needed every once in a while. it's what makes football exciting.
