No clue where you'd find it. Not doubting you, just didn't hear him say that.

If Jake did bench himself, you could look at it two ways: the obvious, and the one that's already been mentioned in this thread, is that he quit; the other is that he realized he wasn't getting it done, and bowed out gracefully.

Given his postgame comments when asked if the heir apparent was on the roster -- "I believe in me" -- I really don't think he left the game in hopes someone else would be playing better. This would be atypical of Delhomme, but if he did in fact pull himself from the game, his confidence must have really taken a nosedive (and it probably should, given his last two performances).

That to me shows he does not have any confidence in himself. Unless he has a huge game and gets out of the slump he is in, he is done...
