If Tillman was, coming back they wouldn't be bringing on two corners. One and a healthy Tillman would suffice.

Understood, but there's a difference between sending Tillman to IR, versus resting him another few weeks and having him for the playoffs.  Granted, to do the latter takes a spot on the roster... so it's not an easy call.

With Lou Young coming up, we'd have a spot on our PS.  If Tillman doesn't go to IR, think there's a chance they'd send Bersin back down to the PS?  After all, all our WRs are healthy and Funchess is playing well...

I don't think we would expose Him to wavier wire or PS right now. With the Pats in need of a WR I could see them jumping on him if for nothing more than intel. Plus I've seen multiple reports this year that he is important in the WR room to the team and he does contribute when asked

Good points.  To be honest, I'd temporarily forgotten that to send a player down to the PS means waiver exposure.  I like Bers, so don't want to lose him.  I was just trying to think who might be PS eligible if we went that route.  Obviously Bersin is, so is Marlowe & Wegher.  But after holding them on the 53 all season, again, I don't think we'd want to expose them to waivers.

Gettleman is wise beyond his years and sees the bigger picture. I wish more people here could see it as well.

Only one guy needed as a replacement, but Gettleman is getting two. Why? Well it's better to get the 2nd guy in here and familiar with the Defense, calls, and schemes. That way if we have another guy go down, we have a guy that's been here and is ready to contribute. Rather than panicking in the playoffs and not having an answer.

This guy is a football genius. He's not getting enough credit for what he's done here in such a short amt of time both with the cap and personnel.

I love everything about this organization
