A Change in Attitude

Even though our defense gave up 28 unanswered points, was anyone else completely sure we were going to score once we got the ball back with 2 minutes left? Other seasons, I always got worried, but this season, is different in the way I feel confident about the team.

This must how it have felt to cheer for the Patriots for all these years

After seeing Cam nod after the ODB TD like "I got this", and a calm come over the room where I was watching, I realized this is a different Panthers team than any we've ever watched.

  • A team that expects to win
  • A team that is ok playing from behind
  • A team that knows how good it is
  • A team that rises to challenges, not shrinks from them.

Boys and girls, this is the beginning of a stretch of years where the Panthers are considered the team to beat in the NFCS and likely the NFC.

Yes, actually this was the first game where I didn't feel we were going to lose at all.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
