After reading what Gross had to say and what Moose said, I have a feeling that this team is going to respond in a level that we all expect that they can play at. I would bet that Gross and Co. hold down the fort and we will see a much more improved blocking scheme. The offense gameplan will be simple, run and keep running it down their throat. Jake won't win it, but he certainly won't be in a position again to lose it.

My biggest concern is that Jake does OK enough to keep the starting job. Then it's only a matter of time before he implodes again. Week 17 against NO with a playoff berth on the line? During the playoffs? Who knows? I'd rather start Moore now and see what he's got. If he does well, he'll only get better. If not, the season is a loss anyway, and then we can bring Jake back in and he'll play better because he knows that the FO/coaching staff is not f*cking around this time.
