I see Cam as a designed running QB. By that I mean, running QBs are actually scrambling QBs. They have that ability in the NFL. Designed runs for QBs are a quick way to get your QB hurt. Except Cam.

Of course he's also all that and a bag of chips in the pocket. That makes him an actual dual threat or triple threat if you want to include the scrambling threat.

Defenses don't worry about Wilson running, they worry about contain. That's different. You have to worry about everything with Cam. That's what makes him unstoppable. Pick you apart? Yup. QB run out of this or that formation? Yup. Scramble when play breaks down necessitating contain? Yup. No one else does all that. No one.

I'm like you. I like the idea of him gaining yards on scrambles, than called run plays.

However, I'm sure in the playoffs, if there's tough games, they may do that on short yardage.

But let's hope it never comes to that.
