Offense and Momentum

Again, I get what folks are saying, but do you really believe the whole problem with the second half offense boils down to the fact that they went into a huddle?

Come on, guys.

Seattle executed. We didn't. There's no excuse for that.

If your offense can't play ball control from a huddle, they're probably not very good. And frankly, in the second half yesterday, they were just good enough but not as good as they should have been. Ditto the defense.

The explanation for why that happened is not as simplistic as "they didn't huddle". Sure wish it were because that'd make it easy to fix.

Hate to tell ya, it ain't that easy.

I agree with Mr Scot. The problem is not really the change in pay-calling on offense or defense. The same plays were being run on offense as were being run in the first half. The difference was that in the first half they were gaining 5 yards per run, and in the second more like 2. It was the execution of the plays, not the huddling, nor the play calling.

One answer is continue the first half. Unchained and allow Cam with the offense continue the domination.  The best way to keep a big head start is to continue scoring no matter how fast imo.  The goal is to out score the opposing team at that point not to nurse a lead, that is like a grenade with it's pin pulled and hoping it's a dud.  Pedal to the metal against the Cardinals or join the Seahawks.

I mean, what in the heck is this picture about? I know someone has photoshopped it with a perfect quote, but why would she take this pic in the first place!?

The announcer pointed out how when you slow play it disrupts the flow of the offense, and it was completely true in our case. How many timeouts did Cam have to waste not to get a delay of game?

The second half was so frustrating, we were running on 1st and 2nd and hoping Cam can save us on third and long. Not only the offense but the defense went to a complete soft coverage. McClain and Finnegan were getting abused

Yeah, I hate when the Panther utilize mundane runs on first and 2nd down, then ask Cam to make a throw (when everyone knows it) on third down. Worse, when they run it up the middle on third down. LOL

Yes, Cam normally makes throws throws. However, we saw yesterday on third down (when Seattle knew he had to throw) tip and block a few balls that would/should have been easy catches, but they weren't. So things happen when you place a QB on third down throw situations (albeit they were safe enough not to throw picks)!

Ha! There's a whole series of them with her licking that bomb pop. I don't want to think about how or why the photo shoot was done. Cringe worthy.
