Agreed, he does seem beloved in the locker room.

One thing that I remember him saying that is probably a good idea for younger coaches: Something like, "I wish I had hired a previous HC to be on my staff when I first got here".  Could have possibly helped smooth out those growing pains.

If nothing else, it would've helped with clock management. He was horrid with that. I think it got better once Skipper came back, he had always helped Fox with that.
