The OL on a budget came back to bite us in the ass.

Consistently that was our biggest hurdle we had to try and overcome.

Gettleman's roster made it to the Super Bowl with extra pieces added to Hurney's core, but now it's time for him to build the OL up.

*Cotchery

Holy hell, it's like Cotchery's hands were surgically replaced during the last 2 weeks. I couldn't believe those drops tonight, and even though that first one should have been a catch there aren't any questions if it's not bobbled.

OL was solid. Remmers was the weak link. He's a FA now. Hopefully Williams steps up and replace him and Gettleman drafts Oher's replacement for 2017.

    • I said leading up to the draft that Bryce looked like the typical great college QB who simply doesn't have what the NFL is looking for and goes as a mid-round flyer to a team drafting him as a backup but hoping he can prove them wrong. I never looked at Bryce and saw a 1st rounder much less a #1 overall.
    • I would have told my mom not to wear that mini skirt to work. Apparently it drove JR nuts.
    • The NFL is a fickle beast. There have been some very talented players who could not sustain their previous success even with the necessary physical traits. He would just end up one more in a long line. But you are correct. When you are targeting a specific position if you are operating with the necessary number of functioning brain cells you should always covet and prioritize the players who showed up the most against the best most pro ready competition. Not fawn over the prospects who spent the bulk of their career shellacking smaller college programs who basically operate out of a large closet space.
