As just reported on @1067theFan - per @granthpaulsen the #Redskins are placing the franchise tag on @KirkCousins8 for 2016.

 

Cousins franchised tagged. Don't know the source but I assume a Schefter retweet is pretty good confirmation.

Incorrect, yesterday it was reported he would get the franchise tag, and earlier today it was reported by Rapport he would get tagged, and then when he got tagged, there was another thread.  It's kind of redundant.

That he was officially tagged did not have it's own thread.

Von Miller is TBA because exclusive tag numbers aren't available yet because it factors in 2016 numbers but it is believed that the exclusive tag and non-exclusive tag for LBs will be the exact same so that's why they used the exclusive version of the franchise tag.

Sounds like Eric Berry will also be tagged though that is not yet official

It appears that the only tag decision yet to be made is which CB the Rams are going to tag, Trumaine Johnson or Janoris Jenkins. Johnson is the better player in my opinion, but it's sounding like they are leaning towards Jenkins because Jenkins has expressed no interest in signing a long term deal with them(he also fired his agent and can't hire a new one until Thursday making a deal before the deadline impossible) which makes tagging him the only option for them to be able to keep both for next year.

I don't think there are any other potential tags unless a Bradford one(transition?) comes out of nowhere.
