No problem catching so far, got about 30 right now...but with the servers continuing to screw up and not having explored/battled yet, I can't speak to much.

I downloaded it yesterday...just caught my first Pokemon this morning :(  There are definitely some issues with it, but I can see it being fun if you're traveling.  They didn't really explain the interface that well, I thought.  I can see all of these Pokemon nearby when I'm at home, but I'm just out of reach and I don't have a dog to go find them.  I'm not going to go walking around my neighborhood just to catch some Pokemon.  The concept is definitely cool though.

A big storm came through earlier and knocked my power out, then a fuggin Zapdos appeared. I'm not sure how to handle the situation.

Yeah, but it would be pretty awesome if that happened. I wouldn't want my house to burn down to find a Moltres though.

Hopefully in time, there will be an update that makes Gym battles better/more like the old games. The quick "mash mash mash" screen battle kinda sucks. Would also like to be able to battle others/live Pokemon. 

 

So far though, pretty sweet.

seriously addicting game. I do wish they would add the ability to battle random people nearby, trade with friends, and allow you to set up your own gym. My gf lives near campus and is surrounded by pokestops and gym's. I live out in the "country" and have to drive 3 miles to the nearest ANYTHING so it kills a lot of the fun for me.
