You must have exceptional excel spreadsheet skills with all the number crunching you do lol.

And QB ranked 4? Did they miss the entire 2015 season? CAMVP and Top 100 #1? I am beyond ready for the Aaron Rodgers love fest to end.

Agreed! I get that the media has major wood for Rodgers and Brady, but Big Ben is better than Cam!?!?! WTF? i also think think that our def front 7 are better that Seattle's. Their O-line is 32...HAHA! I love it.

For a moment, let's just imagine those PFF rankings mean anything:

IF those roster rankings were at all accurate in terms of showing toughness / talent of a team, it would mean we have

3 games against top quartile (top 8) teams (AZ & SEA & OAK) - playing Oakland & Seattle away late in the season back to back really could be tough, as Jeremy has been suggesting.

4 games against 2nd quartile teams (ranked 9 - 16):  Minn, Denver, KC, WAS

6 games against 3rd quartile teams (ranked 17 - 24)  ATL & NO & Tampa 2X each.  BUT...We all know division games come down to more than just talent though... Can't take these for granted.

3 games against bottom quartile teams (#25 - 32):  SD, LA, SF.

So, it's still only mid-July.  Not even training camp yet... and this is only a pre-season roster ranking unit by unit....

AND it's PFF.....   Equals:  TAKE THE FOLLOWING WITH MANY GRAINS OF SALT...  But still, the Panthers are 4 for 4 in the position group rankings that PFF has done so far.  We've got 4 position groups in the top 6.  Best in the league.  Obviously we will get dinged on Secondary, and maybe re: WRs (in PFF's opinion)... but to have elite QB;  Def Front 7; Oline (interior); and RB.  Very very nice.

Here's the tweet I posted with this info earlier today:

Here are all the PFF links to the series entries to date:

QB:  https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-ranking-all-32-nfl-qb-situations/

Def Front 7:  https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-ranking-all-32-nfl-defensive-front-sevens/

Oline:  https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-ranking-all-32-nfl-offensive-lines-entering-the-2016-season/

RB:  https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-ranking-all-32-nfl-running-back-units/

Does Madden take into account PFF grade when creating skill levels for the players.

Sandland should make significant contribution this season I can see him having a role similar to  Jordan Reed.

The Chiefs will also pull a guard to the ISO side and run an inside power play that often yields cutback lanes, but the matchup they really want comes with outside zone runs.

The Y ISO isn’t a cure-all for what ails stagnant offenses, but it can be an outlet for a talented tight end to showcase his all-around skills and a big asset for quarterbacks. If Travis Kelce and the next generation of game-changing tight ends have their way, you’ll be seeing a lot more of it.

Key depth: WR Corey Brown, WR Keyarris Garrett, TE Ed Dickson

Interesting that they perceive Garrett, an undrafted rookie, to be key depth, yet at this point most here seem to be doubting that he even makes the roster. And while Dickson may be back, Huddlers also don't consider him to be the key to anything but mediocrity.

I guess PFF is doing the wedding thing- something old, something new....

PFF had high grades on Garrett as an UDFA, so that is likely where that is coming from. I doubt they are looking at OTA noise, so nothing about Byrd/Hill/Sandland.

Yeah I just find it a little funny that a site that's so high on stats is pumping two guys that have little to none.
