We're on pace for another record year!

Through the first four practices, we are nearly 42% over the same time last year: 

2015 (through 4 practices) = 38,207

2016 (through 4 practices) = 54,224

I've noticed the same thing myself. It was absolutely packed yesterday when I was there. Noticeably more people than last year.

The Spartanburg Convention and Visitors Bureau has staff members who use clickers to count visitors, taking into account people who go out and then back in.

Updated numbers (through 8/3/2016):

Today's total = 9,845

Through today (6 sessions) = 69,578

Average / day = 11,596

Really on pace to exceed our record 77,00+ for all of last year!

(2015, through 6 sessions = 42,389; average / day = 7,065)

Winning breeds success.  Glad to see successes like Laura and obviously The Roaring Riot start putting this franchise on the map.

In previous years I would spend a lot of time ranting and raving about the Panthers not getting any respect.  Now I don't worry because I know that the respect is there for the taking.  The media has to give the big market teams their time in the sun now because very soon many of those teams will become irrelevant.

I see a tremendous number of Panther decals, jerseys and hats all over the Carolina's.

They take into account people who come and go ... so, it's not a snapshot of just one moment; it's everybody who came throughout the 2 hours (plus, since the gates open 2 hours before practice starts).
