On one of the pregame shows the discussion was "Who To Start" in Fantasy football.

On the list: One Michael Turner.

"Start Turner, the Panthers are on of those teams that can't stop the run.

For once, I couldn't disagree.

Yep, we stopped him a couple of times... but it's hard to win when they get a 6-8 yard run one play and a 8-12 yard pass on the next... you can pretty much walk down the field like that.

The old "if we allow the other team's RB to get more than 100 yds, we lose" thing is alive and well once again.

The Cowboys ran for 251 yards against the Giants. The Giants D > The Panthers D. Sounds like a problem.

Hopefully the coaches will change something. If we run the same scheme as 1st 2 games we'll have no chance.

Honestly, when was the last time the defense looked good? They haven't this season. They didn't this preseason. They didn't look good against Arizona. They didn't look against the Giants and Saints. Who did we beat before we played the Giants, the Broncos? That was the last time the defense looked serviceable if I remember correctly.

Marion Barber and Felix Jones are going to brutalize us. Whoever starts beside Lewis might as well go ahead and lube up before the game starts, that'll at least help a bit.

i dont really remember the last time they looked GOOD.

but watching the defense play this year just makes me sad.

they are very average at best.

The last time they were even half decent was the MNF game against TB last year. I believe we gave up an average of 33ppg after that TB game.
