I have never wanted us to blowout a team more in the regular season.  More than the Pats, more than the 49ers, more than the Seahawks.  I haven't been able to endure a single rewatch (even the highlights).  DESTROY the orange dilweeds.

I've wanted to see the Panthers beat other teams before, but so that they could prove something (ie: finally beating Seattle not once but TWICE last season). I wanted those Ws baaad. Really, really bad. I can't stand Seahawks fans that look at me funny when I ask them if they know who Steve Largent was.

Never though have I ever been seething in anticipation of the game until this one. That Super Bowl loss was brutal. The Panthers did themselves no favours and deserved to lose that game, but it was infuriating watching major calls go the way of Peyton's team (ie: Miller illegally batting the ball into the endzone on the first strip fumble, SO MANY PIs by the DEN secondary, and omg that Cotchery catch that was called incomplete). I hated it. I fugging hated it.

And I still do.

I want nothing more than to watch the +52 for last year's homecoming king get their asses stomped into the dirt.

I've been stewing over those three hours for seven months and I assume the players have as well.  Time to start getting the fug over it Thursday night.
