I don't think this would have happened with the Seahawks

Nice find.

Tracking is what every good defensive player does, and you can spot this in any video.

I agree that tracking the hip is the best. The Panthers teach tracking the chest or numbers. You can clearly see the Broncos track the head and the back of the knees. The Broncos also teach rolling up into the legs and pulling the ball carrier backwards. Everyone should be taught to tackle and roll away.

No disagreement. I said in another thread that I've always been neutral to positive toward the Broncos having lived in CO for a decade. I've been to tons of their home games as I used to get free club level seats through work. Always had a great time and it was a great atmosphere. Even after the SB, I had no real hard feelings toward the Broncos. Yeah, Talib is a POS, but everyone already knew that.

But after Thursday night? That entire franchise can kiss my ass. Completely classless bunch of cheap shotters and Kubiak defends it. Haven't heard anything about it from Elway, but silence says everything in this situation. It is condoned by Elway. Fug em all.

You didn't read the post I can tell.

Huh?

I am referring to if the Seahawks had played the game against the Broncos they wouldn't have roughed up Wilson, and if they did they would have gotten away with it.

I get the post was about mutual respect between the Panthers and Seahawks.

If it is any consolation, I live in New Hampshire and the Boston sports talk radio stations here all support Cam. Many of the fans who call in regularly believe that the Panthers are the only real threat in the NFC and that the refs who officiated the Denver game should be fired and fined. I suspect many of you do not like the Patriots, but at least Patriots fans are 100% on our side.

Through all the close loses I never developed any sort of negative feelings towards the Seahawks and I think this is a major reason why.  My feelings towards them were always mostly respect as well as a little envy because they were, more or less, who I wanted the Panthers to be.  I have also aways been a big fan of their players (although Wilson is annoying as hell off the field).

What I saw the other night was dispicable and reminiscent of that Bengals/Steelers game last January.  Respect is definitely not a word I will use towards that team, nor is envy as I do not want to win if that is who you have to become.

I agree. The Hawks play hard, I hate their guts because of the budding rivalry, but one thing they aren't is a dirty team.

I will say one thing. If the Broncos go after Wilson like they went after Cam, the Seahawks would have taken their heads off. They wouldn't have just let it keep happening. Up to you whether or not that's a good thing.
