Carolina's problems/fixes. Rest of year prediction

Here is what we're facing. The Panthers have to teach the DBs how to execute the defense at a high level before we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

This is not a quick fix situation. We will see a gradual improvement in the secondary over the course of the rest of the season, with the secondary tightening up the zone, and cleaning up the execution down the home stretch (last 4 games or so, maybe a little sooner).  The question mark is what will the Falcons and Saints do while we're all over the place and losing? If either one of them runs up a high win total, then we're finished. We basically need to hope that the Saints/Falcons lose their closely contested games, and injuries (god forbid) could also slow them down and keep us in striking distance.

Right now we have to weather the storm and hope hurricane bonehead doesn't destroy our season.

If you want inspiration, look up the Patriots 2014 season.

They had a rough start. Their O-Line was trash. Their loss to the Chiefs in week 4 made everyone believe the Patriots reign over the NFL was over. They even questioned if Tom Brady was fit to remain a starter. Well obviously that was to change, as the Patriots set off to knock down everyone and come out with a Super Bowl victory.

Even with their history of cheating, it's still inspiring to see teams rise up and face adversity, and come out strong. I STRONGLY believe we are capable of going through this, and ended this roller coaster season with a sweet Superb Owl 51 trophy and ring for Jerry Richardson, Sam Mills, and everyone on this team who rightfully deserves such.
