Freeney is for sure one of the best past rushers of all time. Plus he knows his role the past 5 years, CJ has to worry about stopping the run, he is a solid strong hog but Freeney is a freak. They could of went after him but who wouldn't want to go to Dan Quinn who is running a multiple defense? That poo is fun, we are all zones and gaps. We might show you inside LBs in the A gap and back off but thats about as fancy as it gets.

Freeney has always been better than CJ. Also I think that the teams expectation is higher. I think the Panthers are okay with CJ getting periodic good pressure but the Falcons expect Freeney to actually sack the QB. Just my thoughts...

Come on guys, it was obvious this season was a "retooling" season. Don't let the Super Bowl fool you, we had no chance this year. It's better that we've saved cap room and are going with youth. Hell who knows, maybe if we keep building for the future in 2 or 3 more seasons we'll be back on top of the division.
