If Cam plays we would have won 35-14. The Defense cleaned up a bit and showed improvement (not great by any means), the oline formed great pockets and blocked well on the run. The defense as a whole gave up 17 points, I mean I'm very pleased with that effort. Its as simple as a fumble by DA, and turnover on the 1 yard line that cost us... You can't get upset with Anderson he came in and did what he could, but he left a lot of points on the board.

i was pretty encouraged by the defensive performance tonight, but it's not like tampa is a world beater.

who knows, maybe they stifle new orleans and the offense comes back together with cam. maybe we pound arizona and get out of the bye week healthy and poised to go on a run.

there's always hope

what about the four previous games where cam did play and they still went 1-3?  so far they have been dominated by two good teams.  beat one bad team at home and lost to another bad team that did all they could to give the panthers a W.   that tells me they are a bad team.  i have no faith that this team can beat NO in NO or what they might have in store for the Cards.  1-7 at the mid season mark is very much in play.

      I think those silver helmets look great. The logo is fairly primitive looking but I understand why it is used.  The dayglo type blue top/bottom, I think looks like a cartoon. IOW not good. White on white is a classic look, no issue. Black on black I can take but prefer black pants with a blue top. Or white pants with the blue top.  That is about as much fashion content as I am comfortable posting. Maybe go to E or Bravo for this stuff.

      You are a fair point argument guy, but I disagree that Bryce got us out of that Miami hole. You know who Rico Dowdle is, right?  Just a small quibble.    IMO when I look at him and see his output in a typical game I imagine what he did that a replacement level guy wouldn’t or couldn’t have done.  And I have trouble seeing much difference.  So assuming they can’t replace him with someone’s backup, not everybody’s but there are guys sitting, assuming they can’t replace him for probably less money would potentially be an erroneous assumption.    But based more on his relationship with the team and the guys making the decisions, the question of will they? I tend to see them sticking with him.  I never wanted him at all. But after all the misery of the Bryce era so far, I don’t have a problem with waiting until the season is complete to decide. Bring it on, I can take it.  So I am not ranting that he needs to go, although I have certainly done that and can’t say he has changed my mind to this point.  He still could.  We’ll see.
