I know I have not been on here forever and now I come to ask for help.. Go figure..bash bash bash.. Done move on. Has anyone here ever themselves personally split a cable from their satellite connection and then connected a satellite box to it and it work? I have a extra box, no Cable outlet to a room and could not would not have the tech drill another hole thru the side of the house and around the house to connect it, so I am trying to do it from cable that is already present.. Any help.. PLEEEAAAASSSSEEE>

Inimicus is correct. Sorry :(

well, to be clear...my dish has two lines coming from it to the main box on the side of the house. From there it is split to three boxes inside my house...you can't split the cable after the connection to the box on top of the tv or wherever. You'd basically have to do it from outside and I guess thats what you're trying to avoid.

It can be done *sort of*. Put a 2-way splitter coming out of the back of the main box and simply run the other line to your 2nd TV. It will be slaved to the single box, but that's better than nothing IMO. We do something similar at a freind's house for an deck TV on gamedays

    • I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3.  Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys.  I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
