The Division, post 1.4 patch

Anyone else playing?  I've played a but, realized how bad I was at it again.  It's still fun, up to level 16!

Thoughts?

I stopped playing. Can't get into the game anymore to be honest. It's a constant grind and I can't even get anything out of it because I bought the digital copy. I'm really close to just taking it out of my hard drive. I keep a silly sliver of hope, thinking that when I log in next time I will actually have fun or enjoy the game like I did earlier this year. so far it isn't happening. Destiny has taken over my time. lol.

I'm all of level 16 now, but for me, I guess the appeal was the challenge.  I didn't do much other than monkey around in Gears.  I like playing for 30-45 minutes.  Much after that and it get's a little nuts.  I'm at a point where the enemies are starting to get smart, sending shotgun rushers and stuff.  Flying solo is kind of hard.  I spent a bit of time the last time I played doing a level 12 hostage mission (at level 16), and I kept getting flanked.  Sadly, I don't have the most stable auto rifle, so it was really frustrating.  I guess I'm just not great.  A fun diversion, I guess.

There's a bunch of folks in my social media world who are loving the way it's been changed and survival mode.  I was just curious.

So I started playing this again after patch 1.5. I have to say, it feels more rewarding, but the DZ is the DZ. The new meta is apparently Alpha Bridge. I'm constantly running into those builds. People are still tanky tho. 

 

I like the addition of high end named gear. Barrets bullet proof chest piece, Shortbow knee pads, Ferro's gas mask, ninjabike messenger back pack, etc. I found that to be very refreshing. I'm constantly grinding lexington to get that chest piece. lol.

This was my game back before they ruined it, I'm still so bitter about it that I havent played since the 1.4 came out. 

I've been splitting time between Fallout 4 and Destiny
