Philly has.....

Those teams make EVERY QB look bad. Bad examples please try again.

In his time with those teams, they didn't "make him look bad". He played badly enough to be benched by both teams in favor of guys that nobody would mistake for hall of famers. People were saying he was done as a pro until he got back in the WCO with the Eagles.

There are QBs in the WCO who are legitimately good, but systems like the WCO and the run-and-shoot are stat-friendly and as often as not make average QBs look better than they really are (hence guys like Timmy Chang and Colt Brennan).

Let's be honest here. We just need a QB who WON'T turn the ball over and can occasionally complete a long pass to Smith. The rest of the team can handle the rest. What they cannot handle is always being on the field and in a bad position at that. Lately, the D doesn't have any advantages when they take the field. Always with the bad field position. At least that's the way I feel.

    • I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.
    • It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
    • I always thought of him as an uptight military family dude, didn't know he needs to wash that mouth out with soap lol.
