ill welcome anyone back if it makes the team better... even deangelo haha

Hey, whatever floats your boat.

Peppers was a special case.  I spent years taking up for him, supporting him, thinking he was the ultimate weapon.  Then he dropped trouser and poo on our faces.  I've got no love left to give.  If he's back my strongest emotion will be "whatever".

If he comes back and makes a game winning turnover, are you happy that we won the game or upset that he made the play??

Never understood how you can pull against a player that plays on your team. It's the ultimate conflict of interest. Yes, you can like some players more than others but at the end of the day, you pull for the team to succeed. I have several friends who pull against players on the Panthers cuz they played on a college team that was their schools rival. Makes zero sense to me.

Well he doesn't play on our team.

if he comes back fine, just don't expect me to be a fanboy like I once was.  I've always been a name on the front of the jersey guy.  He helps us great, if not oh well.  My time being a pep fan is long gone.

You should've been on fences, lol. "I done gave all I have, I can't give no more!"

honestly he totally lost me when he threw the football away like a girl after Cam tomahawked for the score, but we really can't be picky where we're at with the position.

he'd be needed as a 3rd down edge rusher if we do end up with Allen or Thomas.

have him go in as a bear or a packer...he may get out a coherent sentence in his speech if he practices it

Well he played more years with the Panthers than the Bears and Packers combined. So not happening. I cannot wait for the row of statues to be Mills, McCormick, Smith, and Peppers. This fan base is going to lose their minds.

Did Steve Smith lose you after he bashed the organization that stood by him after punching two teammates in the face. The same guy who helped destroy Jimmy Clausen's development and refused to ever take a rookie WR under his wing?

Did Captain Munnerlyn lose you when he called out Devin Funchess and the rest of team last season?

Did Muhsin Muhammad lose you after he left the Bears after his best season ever over a few million dollars ?

I wish someone could explain this to me.

    • Smitty is a legendary footballer player but this has really damaged his reputation as a person. You don’t cheat on a woman who has been with you through everything and gave you children and especially not with another man’s wife. He doesn’t even have any remorse about it, acting like nothing happened.
    • That's a big ass center! Is there any center in the NFL that weighs 320 lbs? Also, we drafted a center last season. Not sure this guy is a center even if he took reps at the senior bowl. Looks like a guard to me unless his build is better suited to a lesser weight. In a zone scheme centers need to be able to move quickly.
    • The majority of NFL draft picks don't play all too many snaps lined up directly across from another NFL player, and I don't think many people really realize this. Unless you play a game against one of the 2-4 schools that are putting half their lineup into the NFL each season, most teams who have multiple draft picks, MIGHT only have 2-4 draft picks in any given season. Some skill positions get around 30 players drafted each year, other positions are in the teens to low 20's.  With at least a handful of them coming from non power conference schools too.  So the odds for any WR or CB to get too many games lined up directly against another future draft pick is pretty low. The better odds are that they get lined up against a future NFL player, i.e. a junior or senior WR getting lined up against a freshman or sophomore DB who will get drafted in a couple of years. Then if you take it one step further and look for players who actually play in the NFL and make a difference.   You're basically looking at players drafted in the first 3 rounds of the draft, so a little less than 100 players a year, spread out across all the positions and conferences (which in today's massive conferences, teams have even lower odds of player the teams with more NFL players than ever before).
