DE is far from a maybe, if someone like Allen drops to us we may go with him over Fournette, and I'd be fine with that.

I don't think so , he is not good fit for the Panthers scheme.

Fournette is better football player and would have more impact there wouldn't be any hesitation for the Panthers if L.F. Is available.

Ok you are one funny guy, I'm hoping anyway. because you're either joking or need your head checked.

if Allen you think Allen wouldn't fit in our scheme.

I'll say it again, this draft does not have a clear cut top pick like a Eric Ebron prospect.

It a damn good deep athletic TE class but Howard could be a late 1st. Ebron from the get go was a top 10-15 pick.

We are not drafting a damn TE especially at no8. Damn dammit

Ebron was just glorified WR that ppl fell in love with his athleticism.

Howard is more talented and proven in college that he is NFL ready especially when it comes to blocking.

Mayock made Howard comparison to Greg Olsen but with better blocking. I'll take another Olsen with top 10 pick.

Combine Grades :

OJ Howard: 6.51

Jamaal Adams 6.6

Howard is a top 10 pick worthy and has high chance of being drafted by Panthers

Howard never did anything in college other than his two championship games.

Haha this same argument  used by Saca .

He was underutilized and of course having a freshman QB doesn't help but that doesn't matter most scouts have him as the #1 TE  and his grade puts him in top 15 talent .

Also he faced some of the best secondary and did pretty damn well.

You may not like him but your evaluation is false.

    • Got to give some credit to the coaching staff on these. You can grab top talents but without good coaching, they just fizzle out. We've seen that a lot around here.
    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
