Anybody else watching? Decent card for the night. Jeremy Stephens can enter into the featherweight championship conversation if he can win here.

EDIT: Jose Aldo would demolish him, but I could see Cub Swanson fighting him in his next fight if he can finish this one. If it goes to decision, he probably won't get a shot at a top featherweight for another year or so.

Cub Swanson is a scary dude when he's on his game.

EDIT: Lobov has an impressive chin, but he's gonna have to start protecting himself if he's going to keep fighting into his 30s. The fact that he made it through the fight is insane, but ask Chuck Liddell...those shots take a toll and sooner or later, you're a one-punch victim every time you enter the cage. Brendan Schaub realized this and left the game when he realized he was being outclassed and taking too many shots.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
