We will win our first game whenever our coach realizes he needs to run the ball and play defense like a John Fox coached team.Run left, run right, run up the middle, run over the other team.but run, run, run.I'd never thought i'd say please run three downs and punt after Dom Capers left,or after 2007 home games, but please for god sake run.we win when we run

Running the ball will not fix this mess!!! This team has more problems that simple solutions will not fix. Jake Delhomme is way past his prime. He has been at his full potential and now he is on the down slide. It is really sad to think where this team has been and where they are now. Yes, they do have a tremendous running game but however that only works if the machine is well greased. IT is NOT!!!

Ok, think about what you just said. The quarterback is past his prime, but running instead of passing won't fix anything.

I know you probably want to cut Jake and start whoever, but as good or as bad as he is, Jake is the best option we have at QB right now. That's just how it is.

So you want to improve the team? Stop putting the ball in Jake's hands and start giving Williams more carries. That's a very simple step that can be taken immediately.

    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
    • Dan's been talking about upgrading CB since beginning of free agency
    • I'm more of a Hornets fan than I am a Panthers fan, I've watched a ton of this franchise the last 20 years. I post all day on RealGM. Don't get your hopes up, this is setting us up for a 20 point loss to the Heat and a swift end to the season. Spoelstra has always solved us, the Heat have two bigs that we have no answers for, and Jaquez is a certified Hornets killer that always plays us like he has a grudge on us. The Hornets being a top 10 team all year and a top 5 team the last half of the year and then flat out missing the playoffs is incredibly on brand for this crappy, horrendous franchise. I would love to be proven wrong. But I've suffered enough to know this little scheme the team is pulling. We finished 2 games out of 6th and guaranteed playoffs, and we blew two games to the Pacers and Nets earlier in the season, when they weren't trying to win. It's just who we are, Hornets DNA
