He can throw bombs but I never saw him really zip the ball into a tight space. His spirals are loose and on intermediate and short routes it looks more like he pushes the ball rather than spinning it. Zip and distance aren't necessarily correlated together. Personally, i'd rather have someone like Cam who can really spin it on shorter routes and get the ball downfield than dude who has no zip.

At a minimum, we could have gotten what Buffalo got, for ten.

Putting zip on short passes is why Cam can't complete them, too much zip over a short distance results in drops. Cam has no touch on passes what so ever, thus why he always leads the league in passes dropped. He learns some touch and we might be able to have some fun

And picked up Howard and Adams... those were options 3 and 4... especially after picking up the scrub we got at 40, there was no need to not trade back

Same. Seems only a few teams ever really benefit from actually trading down, and it's usually just New England.
