Possible post-draft shakeup?

There was a rumor a few weeks back that Panthers Director of Player Personnel Don Gregory might wind up joining Sean McDermott in Buffalo.

If true, it's also possible McDermott might try to lure other Panthers people as well. And since Bills ownership is reported to be really high on him, he may have the power to make some things happen.

The expected time frame for stuff like this to happen is generally after the draft. Of course, it could be nothing, but it's definitely a plausible scenario.

Coaches have contracts that have to be honored.

Scouts and staff positions can be a tad more... flexible.

People by the hundreds of thousands have left that region for the Carolinas for decades.  We have Cam and Luke and the core roster of a 17 win team.  And someone would make a lateral move to go there?  Why?

I doubt anyone was actually feeding the Bills anything. No real need for it.

McDermott knows this team as well as anybody.

Because it may not be a lateral move.

And people move for lots of reasons. For some folks, that may be home.

I believe that the coaches are more important than the players.   At this level every player is JAG.   It isn't basketball.  Think about it.
