Curtis Samuel "electric" in first day.

Samuel helps Cam by making the defense cover the entire field.  I will always like Philly Brown the man, but not the player--he disappeared last year at times and did not scare a defense.

Brown had 276 yards and 1 TD last year.  To put that in perspective, Julio Jones had better stats in 1` game against us.

Samuel will flirt with 1000 all-purpose yards if Cam learns to get him the ball.

Fixed Funchess' quote:

“First day, he is electric” Devin Funchess told me. “Just like I watched him at Ohio State. He just has to put it all together. I am out there making sure he takes my job.”

Some people see the future and tie their line to it. TBH, why would any young WR not want to be Cam Newtons #1, right now, in his prime. The heat is on, already.

i'll believe the electricity if he overcomes the 434 yard plateau that oppresses all receivers that enter our system

Other than KB and Ginn and Funchess you mean

that is the only thing holding me back about getting too excited over Samuel. Panthers overall history with WRs.....:(

Ginn is a money chaser (not that I blame him), KB and Funchess? the jury is still out. yes?

I'm not writing a biography. I'm noting they have broken the 434 yd ceiling.

Thing is what's interesting is CMC is suppose to be better......just imagine that for a second.

This is all very encouraging news to hear about Curtis.  Although, to CarolinaSamurai's point, this makes me want CMC back out on the practice field and getting reps.  The NFL needs to amend that stupid @$$ rule.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
