The Redskins look awful

BIGH2001

Recommended Posts

Campbell has already thrown 2 INTs where he looked like Jake, they gave up 90 yards on the opening kickoff return and have allowed Josh Johnson to throw his first NFL TD.

Next week should be quite a pillowfight, but I honestly think we are the better team right now even if we play as bad as we did the first 3 weeks.

2-2 > 0-3

We would have 2 wins as well if we had the Rams and Bucs at home. Maybe even 3 if you throw in Detroit on the road. The Redskins have had the pussiest schedule so far with the exception of NYG to start the season. There is really no reason they shouldn't be 3-1.

I think we will get a early 7 point lead then Fox will go into his famous "play not to loose" mode. Our D will wear out from being on the field too long then the skins will run through us like every one else has.

Just a thought.

Last week I thought we would run over the Skins easily. This week? Not so much. Today, while keeping tabs on the Wash/TB game, I told myself that it'll only be the end of the world if we lose to the Bucs this year. After seeing their rookie QB actually do half way decent, I'm now not even sure we can beat them hahaha!

Man, if we lose to thee Bucs. All hell will break loose.

You can add the Bills to that list. After today, they are going nowhere fast with that offense.

Any halfway decent self-respecting team would win our next 3 games. I know that things will go to hell again as the schedule toughens up after that, but the least they could do is get back to 3-3 and show some resolve and desire.

I think the panthers will barely win even though it looks like a game we should win convincingly.

I don't know how that is your train of though when the Panthers are 0-3.

....so do we (the Panthers). No game is a gimee for us. Dont know why we are bashing our heads against the wall but we should crush the skins....if we dont, the AC/DC Hells Bells will be tolling...

Merriam Webster:

TOLL: a grievous or ruinous price.

I don't know why you think the 2009 Panthers should crush the 2009 Redskins. Maybe a couple of years ago when your QB was looking elite and the Redskins gave you a franchise RB. This game will be a tough game most likely decided by one score. This is mostly due to the Redskins offensive ineptitude and Delhomme's new found sub-mediocrity.

    • Yep. I was hoping for and calling for a day three guy. But I didn’t research the position to say if we should or should‘t have jumped at a particular guy at a particular spot.    And everything I read said it was a poor draft for RBs depth wise. I guess when Seattle takes a backup RB in the 1st, that kind of backs that up.    I definitely think we should keep 4 running backs and if King can play well enough then keep him too.    I believe I heard Canales say we are a running team (talking about drafting a WR he will be needing to block as well as catch). Well if we are gonna be a running team by identity we don’t need to stock the WR room to overflowing. If one room has to sacrifice, it should not be the RB room given our circumstances.
    • If there's a pattern I'm definitely picking up from Dan and company is a philosophy of making trades where we try not to sacrifice the number of draft picks we have by day's end. In other words, we're not giving up three picks for one, or giving up a future pick to make a pick today. And even if we give up something at the start, we make trades later to make up for that initial loss. Here's how it stacked up for 2026: How we started: 19, 51, 83, 119, 158, 159, 200 How we ended: 19, 49, 83, 129, 144, 151, 227 (no future picks sacrificed) Ultimately, we moved up two spots in the second to ensure we got someone we coveted, gave up a few spots for our fourth round pick, but then had better picks in the 5th (and got really good value out of them), and had a worse 7th rounder which isn't that big of a loss anyways.  At this point, we can question who they draft, but they're pretty good maneuvering across the draft board.
    • I just saw the funniest thing...or very disappointing, depending how you handle misery. A guy on YouTube did a 2027 'way too early' mock draft.  If I told you the simulator has the Panthers selecting in the top 10 , what would you say?  If I told you it was pick #8 and only two QBs were taken in the top 7, what would you say?  If I told you this dude had us taking a defensive player, what would you say?
