My $0.02 on the Gettleman firing

Yes I was a DG fan, despite being a bit ruthless I believe he was on the right track to turn us into a perennial contender. Yes the timing of the firing was far from ideal but, if its true that Olsen and Thomas Davis were not happy because of their contract situations that would have had a ripple down effect to the rest of the team. I would rather have 2 of our best players and leaders on both sides of the ball happy than DG. Those are players that everyone on the team looks up to, and if they are disgruntled that would effect the rest of the team. DG was far from perfect and I think we can find someone just as good if not better after this season but I am just praying that we don't end up keeping Hurney. And I really don't think that this firing will effect our success this season in any way. Coaches are still there, players are still there.

Haha damn, dont have to be so sarcastic. I just don't see why so many people are against the firing when it could benefit the morale of the players as a whole. The players are the most important aspect of a team.
