Kevin Dodd a potential trade asset for Titans?

True, but our guy had doghouse issues from the start and this was the last year of his rookie deal.

Just saying, guys who have accomplished a lot more get traded for peanuts all the time.

Dodd has essentially done nothing at the NFL level and has some serious durability concerns. I don't think he'd go for much at all on the trade market.

wait...wait...wait...

a trade before a 40 man cut!

This guy is not likely to get cut.

The Lavar Edwards' of the world are the only DE's that reach the waiver wire.  Even Ealy wouldn't have made it to our 8 spot on the wire if we wanted him back.

there will be somebody next week without a trade (maybe even this guy)...was my point.

The original article and many others say he's unlikely to get cut.  Cox may be picked up by another team, that's how desperate teams are for DE's.

Marty or any other GM SHOULD argue these facts.  Buy low, sell high.  Reality is he's a 6'5, 277 pound specimen on a rookie deal and less than two years removed from a standout CFB national championship appearance followed by nearly being a 1st Rd pick at a premium position.  Conditional 7th is unreasonable and unrealistic.  No reason for the Titans to do that to what is still an asset.  We'd still have to give up something to get something.

Nobody is going to trade for a young player who is injured and is not producing.
