Hes not good any more plus he has a huge contract. Hard pass.

Rather develop Worley.

I think this is something that wouldn't realistically come into consideration until late October when Worley has had somewhat of a real chance and Haden's salary for this year at least would be sliced.

Holy crap, his cap hit for 2017 is $14.4 million. This is why I shouldn't post after I've had *2* Java Monsters in the morning. I now don't want him either.

Thats not good for your health.

I wouldn't. As posted above, he's been mediocre at best and often hurt. Add in salary and no chance.

Just a note to posters, there's usually a reason why teams are trying to unload players who aren't performing well. See Ealy, Kony. Yes, there can be reclamation projects but those you wait until cut down day and don't pay $10M for Allen Hurns who looks average at best.

Gotta be smart and a little lucky.  Marshawn Lynch and Randy Moss were turds but it was criminal what the Seahawks and Patriots got them for.  Greg Olsen was a stroke of awesome timing and fortune here.  Brett Favre was once a Falcon, and forever changed the Packers.

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
