That's 101%...just saying.

Actually, that's good research. I'm kind of shocked that 7 teams carry 4 QB's.

I rounded up for all of them. I was shocked at how many had 4 too but all those teams either have bad QB situations or hurt QBs. Regardless, more than 2/3 of the league carries 3 or more QBs. And likely none of them (with the exception of BUF now - who has 4) play special teams.

Baltimore doesn't have 4. They only list two and explicitly state they kept only two here:

Chargers have 3 on both their mistake NFL list

To be honest...those team websites suck. I'm guessing the NFL makes them all do the same thing but they are not good.

I checked the site roster and NFL roster. They all agreed. The NFL roster included those on IR so you have to not count them. The depth charts do sometimes still show guys who were cut.

So let me see if I can catch up on wtf is going on here.  The plan at one time must have been to upgrade the FB position so Dave signs one and drafts one.  Then right before camp Dave is executed and the village idiot is brought back to help with the feels and to undo the horror that meanie Dave bestowed upon the franchise.

Now Ron is free to evolve without that terrible Dave guy telling what to do.  So as he stood stoically on the sidelines during preseason he realizes that damn it we just have to give Gano more time to see if he really sucks or just kind of sucks.  Meanwhile Hurney wonders the sidelines picking his nose wondering how he can trade one of those kickers for another RB because damn it you can't have enough RB's.

DidI miss anything?

    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
