NFL exec: "McCaffrey is beyond special" also, "Cam could be jealous if him"

Technically not starting, but he does so much more the Stewart out of the backfield that he will be more productive.

He won't out rush Stewart. And will probably be 4th or 5th in targets. Cam will still target KB and Olsen more than every option

Still think he will rush for around 800 yards and receive for close to 600 yards. Overall production that is more than Stewart by far and also Olsen and KB. This is just my prediction and I do actually see him getting just about the same rushing yards as Stewart with less attempts.

Highly doubt that, Stewart will rush for around 800, Mccaffrey closer to 600 and 400 receiving yards.

KB and Olsen will probably combine for around 250 of Cam's targets, I just heard Cam talk about KB I'm almost certain he's gonna force feed him even more this year. I'm not buying one bit Cam turning into Drew Brees over the offseason heavily targeting backs.

This makes me upset. Hell, we literally just had Cam say KB is going to have the best season of his career this year. That doesn't sound like a player who's scared or jealous of others shining. Cam wants to win, that's it. This is so low for whoever said it, but I'm not surprised it was said. I'm not surprised it was someone within the league who said it either. I know what it is...

I hope Cam has another MVP type season this year, and I hope he does it with CMC rushing for 1000+ yards and receiving for 600+. It's time to shut some ppl up

Some of you are a bunch of tools.  If you got to make everything about race then your critical thinking skills are sub par.  I'm as big a Panthers fan as anyone else and Cam is a rare talent.  But there is no mistaking he is an attention whore.  The commentator may be wrong but I understand why he would think that way.

When has Cam been an attention whore on the field? When has he ever not passed the ball cause he didn't want someone to shine. He don't even call the plays, what are you even talking about right now... what does his social media and the rest of that irrelevant poo have to do with game-day cause I know that's what you're talking about

Well, I hope you are wrong on Cam force feeding KB. I don't like any QB force feeding any WR because that leads to more picks and just a more predictable offense. Cam has way too many weapons on offense to be thinking about force feeding anyone. With the likes of KB, Olsen, McCaffrey, Stewart, Funchess, and I even like this guy Russell Shepard. My point though is there is way too many weapons and I didn't even mention Cam himself to be forcing it to anyone.

You can "understand" this overtly racist drivel?

The black quarterback just has to be insanely jealous of the new white guy to the point it hurts the team because, reasons..?

If you think this is acceptable, you are part of the problem.

Well If Cam sees that KB is healthy that exactly what he's gonna do, plus KB is our most talented offensive weapon so he should get more targets than anyone else. Cam is a down the field thrower, you might be sadly mistaken if you think he's gonna turn into a dink and dunk QB. That's like asking Frank Thomas to start hitting singles like Ichiro.

the same old dialogue about Cam. nothing new here and if you fall for it you have not paying attention to the Panthers for 6 years now.

I said nothing about him turning into a dink and dunk QB. I just said I don't think it is a good idea to force the ball to one player. It is predictable and can only lead to more picks. With the weapons he has Cam needs to utilize them all and not just sling the ball down the field to one player.

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
