LOL, my first poo. I love Norwell, but don't kill the messenger. Marty already said we're in cap trouble and we're wasting over $3M on Gano this year.

Since Gano is  a UFA in 2018 and we are deeming Butkur valuable enough to protect at the expense of Webb, you know we are grooming Butkur to take over. I seriously doubt we would not pay Norwood to keep Gano. This is Hurney, he will keep both just like he did with Williams and Stewart. Hopefully without much guaranteed money which is what killed him last time.

Healthy like in 2015 so he can miss in the most clutch moments like the XP in Seattle and the Super Bowl itself?

Nobone  said I was happy with those misses but it could be worse if Butkur isn't better. We have had worse.

I think people think we should instantly accept Butkur because Gano missed some big kicks the past 2 years. The reason we drafted him in the first place was to give us a cheap alternative for Gano. Nobody trusts him totally. But the guy who replaced Webb was Butkur not Gano. We kept him in hopes he can be reliable and cheap. Well this is showtime. Let's give each a chance to compete and then cut the loser. Use that roster spot for someone coming off IR after 6 weeks. I don't get all the hysteria.
