You keep saying that but  Samuel is not even close to being a full time starter yet. And again, Funchess had as good a day catching the ball as any other Panthers receiver yesterday and he was blocking great, from what I could see. People keep discounting that part of his game, which is stupid because this is a running football team.

Not saying he should not be on team just not playing on the field at the same time as KB.. It would be different if  KB had size and speed he doesnt we need to keep speed on field at all times.

They're two different kind of WR's though. And their size is perfect for a smash mouth running attack. I like Samuel and I can't wait to see him get involved in the offense but do you really think he can block like Funchess?

I wouldn't say Cam was on point yesterday.  He missed Olsen running wide open heading towards the corner of the endzone a few plays before missing dickson by 20 miles over his head.  He was better in the 2nd half but that first half he was overthrowing everyone and staring at his WR's not going through progressions.  He will be better next week though having a game under his belt.  As far as funchess he did what was needed.  People just don't seem to get that our offense is not designed to have multiple WR's with these fantasy stat lines.  Most of your receiving yards are going to come from olsen and benjamin with everyone else sprinkled in.

You know Tom Brady and Aaron Roger's miss players too. It's just happens.

I know people are sensitive about Cam but his vision hasn't been the greatest. It is a little worrying.

It does seem that Cam doesn't see the field as well as some of the veteran QB's in the league. I'm hoping that he hits that point in his career where the game really starts to slow down and he is able to better read the play progressions and the opposing defenses better than he does now.

Dude he played one game coming off injury, its gonna take couple of games to adjust to the NFL. Funchess had couple of seasons to showcase his skill set & it really doesn't mesh with the Panthers scheme. We do not need an another lumbering possesion receiver opposite of KB, those deep ball will be going to Samuel by the 2qtr of the season.

He is our Ted Ginn replacment with better hands.

I wish.....really wish people knew what they talk about, and wouldn't use such a poor passing day by the team, in order to attempt to make a point about some player they can't wait to be gone.

Should we use the other 31 games? He has one game over 100 yards (week 17 of 2015) and five over 50 yards.

He can't claim to be as good as LaFell at this point.

KB isn't that slow. He was behind the Dbs on the int and down field on the crucial 25. Dude gets around. I don't know why people say he's slow. Just because he isn't a 4.3 guy like Calvin Johnson was, who cut his career short, and was one in a 1000, doesn't mean he's slow.

It was just a bad game offensively where we beat up a much weaker team and Cam was not with it.

Im not saying Samuel/Byrd/Shepherd has to be in on running plays but if so they can block down field...if that is all funch brings then move him to TE.. I f he has to block..i would like to have size and speed on the field not just size in the passing game.

No, we should just use the 2 TE set  when Samuel/ Byrd / Shepherd are on the field. This gives the offense speed, size & power while still having the ability to go to a run play with a simple audible.

It's better to have Manhertz/Dickson block than Funchess.

Use couple of run plays then hit them with PA and you got yourself a TD with speed on deep ball or roll out by cam with crossing routes.
