"We want to be a power running team"

Ron and Shula wanted to show the lowly Bills who was boss....instead of taking the easy points.

Just stupid.

Never understood why if that was true, we never invest in the o-line. For a "power running team" we have an awful run blocking line.

They did invest in the O-line. Ryan Kalil was a 2nd round pick. Trai Turner is a 3rd round pick. Taylor Moton was a 2nd round pick. Matt Kalil was a former 1st round pick. Williams was a 3rd round pick, I think. Norwell is the only one of the bunch who came cheap.

Oh please. Matt Kalil doesn't count. I wouldn't consider one of the worst tackles in football an investment.

Might as well just have Remmers back there.

It was one bad game, dude. Norwell had a bad game too. Anyway, you can't claim they didn't invest in the position group just because you think Kalil wasn't worth it.

Bad game? Matt Kalil has been terrible for 4 years. It was a stupid decision that alone should get Gettleman fired.

Whatever. You still can't claim they didn't invest in the position group because they most certainly did. Not every decision is going to be a home run. That's true for every coach and GM who ever lived.

Look Gettleman's entire tenure how many tackles did he draft and where?

What good tackles were available when he picked and what does that have to do with whether the Panthers have invested in the O-line or not anyway? Whether you like it or not, Matt Kalil was in investment just like the other O-linemen they drafted. Whether you think some individual players are good enough or not is beside be point.

BTW, Gettleman also invested in Oher. It was not his fault he got hurt. It's a contact sport.

Look if you think Gettleman had done enough to address our tackle situation during his tenure, I'm not sure there is much we can agree on.

All I'm saying is that he invested in the O-line. This all started because you claimed he didn't. That is a flat out lie. Trai Turner just got paid big time. That's an investment.

Should  have ran it to the outside , if Dickson would have went to the right tackle side it's a easy TD

Hindsight is always 20-20 but, really, not! People comment as if only 1 thing had changed, it would've worked. Well, that's the WRONG way to analyze anything. You're making the assumption that everyone else, especially the Bills defense, would do exactly the same thing they did on the film you're looking at and not react differently to the change. That's not how it works, not what reality is. So stop playing with dolls and action figures and stop posting such idiotic statements.

Still better than getting stonewalled like Dickson who is supposed to be creating holes for J-Stew not blockades

Best: Stay blocking his man that ultimately made the tackle and allow JStew to go 1yd for the TD
