This isn't all because of the mtx.    EA and other places like 2K aren't letting Amazon take preorders so people get 20% off.    So people are just buying digital, etc.    Its pretty annoying and forced me to go sign up for Best Buy gamers club.

I've been debating it but it's a very confusing world. Don't want to buy the wrong system and have it outdated within a few months

Well in that case a xbox one s will do just fine.. we won't be seeing next gen console for awhile yet.
