The more I think KB would have been in good position to catch that ball if he had kept running down the seam instead of cutting his route short to a cross.

The Philly player that intercepted the ball was covering the outside receiver and had to come off his coverage to catch it and the defender that was covering KB was on him man-to-man.   At the very least, if the coverage from the backside got there in time, KB was taller and had the "jump ball" ability to go up and get the ball IMO.  If the defender(s) tried to get too physical, maybe a possible PI.

KB does that and I'm not really sure why at this point. Pressure on Newton might have caused it.

Yea I think it’s been well established KB ran the wrong route. Good chance for a first down, if not a TD there if he runs the right one.
