D hasn't allowed a TD in half the games so far

Granted two were the 49ers and Bears.... but Tampa had a top ten offense coming into this game and Buffalo has scored 20+ in 5 of their 7 games.

On pace for 54 sacks. Not bad. Could be doing better than averaging one turnover per game though.

Only issue is that the four other games were against Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Matt Stafford, and Carson Wentz... all QBs we are potentially going to have to face again if we want to win the Super Bowl. And next week we get Matt Ryan, who is in the same tier as these guys. But hey the next two guys after him are Jay Cutler/Matt Moore and Josh McCown! More 3 points games! Woo!

If the turnovers continue to look more like today then we should be very good come playoff time. Offense still a huge worry but hopefully at some point we'll find our stride. Greg and possibly Ryan back can only help as well. The way I see it though is I think our D can be close to 2013 good this year, and I have hope our offense can be as good as it was back then too, and the rest of the league is pretty vulnerable right now (save maybe the Eagles but we could've and should've beat them). Beat the Falcons handily next week and it'll be looking good.

Meanwhile, except for Jameis who is a turnover machine,.. we are or were like dead last or close In turnovers.

we miss having Peanut around to teach the punch. We miss having Norman's attitude and Smittys attitude,..

kuechly and others need to get into the offense and the laziness on the team, lack of urgency and killer instinct.

No fear mentality, I want Philly in the playoffs for a beat down & show NFL the real Panthers team!

    • Gonna be interesting to watch. All reporting indicates he's gonna be out. From what I'm hearing he's out. The interesting part will be what happens next. The job has been staying within the "family" since Dean retired. But there's no one within the family that makes any sense at all right now. They'll have to go outside the family to hire a coach that's likely to be successful and tension between the school and the basketball family is already high right now with this plot to move the arena to Carolina North because the folks within the basketball family want it to stay at the Dean Dome and they feel misled because they feel like there was never any real consideration of revamping the Dean Dome and this whole evaluation process was just meant to make it look like that was being considered. The best outcome here IMO is that we hire a great coach from outside the family and we revamp the Dean Dome as an olive branch to the family. But the powers that be REALLY want a new arena at Carolina North.
    • yeah outside of 3 shots in a row for arsenal nothing has happened.  I need a quick goal for them and then MC start to press.  Need 2 shots for Arsenal and all 4 still for MC
