While Redskins Fans Complain about that Punt Call....

I'm going to complain about that call that was made when Hoover dropped the ball in the end zone.

First off, I think it was a TD run anyway. Looked like the ball broke the plane before he dropped it. My question is.....how in the world is it a turnover when the ball is dropped and goes in the end zone. Seems to me if the ball is fumbled, goes into the end zone, and a Panther recovers it, it's a TD. Can somebody explain this to me?

The ball cannot be progressed by another member of the offense on a 4th down or with 2 minutes left in the half, hence it's a loss of down and the ball is placed wherever the ball was lost.

that rule sucks, imo

i mean there are 22 guys in one area, you cannot intentionally fumble strategically to get a TD, either way it's a scrum. the rule is not needed

normally it just goes back to the spot of the fumble, it was only a turnover because it was 4th down. i think they put the rule in to prevent people from intentionally fumbling.

exactly

like if hoover got stood up at the goal line and he KNEW he wasn't moving, they wouldn't want him to just drop the ball so it gets kicked in the endzone and maybe a panthers player picks it up.

I think the NFL will address the throwing of a blocker into the punt returner though. I'm sure all you panther fans love it,but if it happened to you, you'd be pissed as hell. it's just something that doesn't belong in the game. it's cheap.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
