So, once again Cam showed why he is a singular talent. Throwing, and smiling. Running, and smiling. Leading, and smiling us to a very impressive victory over, until tonight, what folks thought was a Playoff capable team.

Whether it is popular or not. It seems that the powers that be, have succeeded to Cam's wishes. To allow the most athletic QB the league has ever seen. To be himself.

Two weeks in a row now. Cam has been Cam. And the Offense has looked like it has embraced the concept. Culminating in tonight's lopsided victory over the once vaunted, but not vanquished Dolphins. Let Cam be Cam, and these type games happen.

IMO, Denver. The back to back games where Cam got abused, scared our coaching staff. The problem was. Denver abused Passing Cam, not Mobile Cam. But those games had a profound affect on our coaching staff. They wanted to dial back Cam, trying to save him for later. The problem was, they actually neutered him. Because they tried to protect him, they wound up taking away half his arsenal. And we saw the effects with what happened last year.

So it appears that the coaching staff has decided to let Cam be Cam. At least for the moment. And that Cam? He CAM lead us to the promised land.

Let me ask you this. Honestly, how many nasty hits has Cam taken when he runs? Because, IMO, he is unbelievable in his ability to not get hit. I have braced myself for a hit, that did not happen. I have seen defenders dialing him up for a hit, and not even get the chance because Cam either slid, or moved, or dove, or pulled a rabbit out of his hat. The cat has eyes behind his eyes.

I am all for letting Cam be Cam. I am all for letting my future HOF QB have fun. Because I truly believe, that when the time comes, he will dial it back on his own. Let Cam decided when the running stops. Let Cam decide when he will become what everyone thinks he should have been all along. This is Cam's game.

I have been watching Cam since Auburn. And to the best of my recollection, the only time he has been hurt running? That lackadaisical TD against the Bucs two years ago.

I want to end with this. Did anyone else notice on Cam's long run, he was watching the big screen to see who was coming up on him? It helped Cam know when to cover the ball up so he wouldn't lose it? It was the first time in my life I was actually grateful for this instant gratification fad.

A couple of years ago against New Orleans and last year against Atlanta (“I’d have taken a shot too” remember?) are the only other times I can think and both of those times he got “I got dis”-careless.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
