Take the damn win. Just take it. At least it's 1-3 and not 0-4. Just take it and be happy that we're not all putting a gun in our mouths.

But, but, but...

We didn't get a blowout win! It was only the Redskins! Delhomme didn't have a 4-touchdown performance and threw another INT! Julius Peppers is overpaid and only got 2 sacks! Steve Smith didn't get a touchdown! D Will is struggling! Our coaches stink! John Fox has thrown in the towel! We're going to give up a top 10 draft pick! Racial harmony eludes us! I have a rash! HOW CAN YOU ENJOY A WIN AT A TIME LIKE THIS?! How, I ask you? HOW?!

Ok, I'm sorry but what topics are you reading that have you wound up enough to make this post? I mean seriously link me to at least 3..

You sound like most of the drama queens around here making a post just to get attention like you're the only one cheering for the team or something. I myself haven't seen many negative comments after the win. Please humor us all with the people making topics that need to "chill."

      This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.

      I think we've seen improvement in Bryce's performance. It still isn't up to world beater status, but in Canales defense, he can say that the limitations of the player were hit. I think he survives that even if Bryce doesn't. Still, I think it's a 50/50 shot for Bryce to make it. QB is one of the toughest jobs to do in the sports world, if not the most, so the failure rate is really high, no matter the pedigree. Heck, Archie Manning gets a lot of credit as a great QB but anyone who saw his career in motion knows he wasn't really that good and he was surrounded by bottom of the bowl players. He did get it figured out with his sons, though. That grandson... maybe.
